6-29-2026 Margie Ream, MD, PhD, was elected to serve a two-year term as Chair of the UCNS Board of Directors beginning May 1, 2026. She is an attending pediatric neurologist and director of the Leukodystrophy Clinic at Nationwide Children's Hospital in Columbus, OH. She is also an associate professor of Clinical Pediatrics at The Ohio State University College of Medicine. Her clinical interests include general neurology, neonatal neurology and the care of infants and children with leukodystrophies and other complex neurogenetic conditions. Additionally, she is director of the child neurology residency program.
Dr. Ream has served on the UCNS Board since 2021 as a representative of the Child Neurology Educators Committee of the Child Neurology Society. She served as Treasurer from 2022-2024 and Vice Chair from 2024 - 2026.
