CME Attestation Now Available for UCNS Continuous Certification

10-11-2019 As the first step in the transition to continuous certification (C-cert), all diplomates certified by the United Council for Neurologic Subspecialties (UCNS) must attest to meeting the continuing medical education (CME) requirements and the attestation period is now open. All current UCNS diplomates received an email on October 9, 2019, that outlined the process and provided their initial login information to complete the simple online attestation process and instruction on how to update their profile information. The CME attestation must be completed online by December 2, 2019, for UCNS diplomates to continue their certification. Certification will no longer expire when the initial CME attestation is completed and the annual C-cert requirements are met.

The new C-cert process replaces the previous time-limited certificates and high-stakes recertification examinations and provides a timely, convenient, and affordable way for diplomates to maintain certification.
