Diplomates should sign into their online profile to update their contact information, licensure, and board certification information, and attest to meeting their CME requirements.  The UCNS website works best using Chrome, Firefox, or Edge.

Diplomates may log into www.ucns.org at any time to update or view their information as needed and update their user credentials as described below. The email you indicate as “preferred” on your diplomate profile is the email where password reset information will be sent if needed. 

Email [email protected] to request assistance or if you are locked out of your account after three unsuccessful sign in attempts.

To log in to your diplomate profile:

  1. Click "Sign In" towards the upper right-hand corner of any page
  2. Enter your username and password
  3. When logged in, click "Hi, <your name>" towards the upper right-hand corner to be taken to your diplomate profile page

To change your username and/or password

  1. When logged in, click "Hi, <your name>" towards the upper right-hand corner to go to your profile page
  2. Click "Preferences" in the blue bar
  3. Click the "Change password and/or username" link
  4. Provide the requested information and click "Save"

To edit your contact information:

  1. When logged in, click "Hi, <your name>" towards the upper right-hand corner to be taken to your diplomate profile page
  2. To edit information, click on the pencil icon to the right of the information you wish to edit
    • Name change requests must be submitted to UCNS
    • Required information is indicated with a red asterisk
  3. The email address associated with your preferred contact information will be used to recover a lost or forgotten username and/or password

To pay C-cert fees

  1. When logged in, click "Hi, <your name>" towards the upper right-hand corner to be taken to your diplomate profile page
  2. Click the "Pay Now" button on the left
    • If you know you have not paid your fee but the blue button isn't working, check to make sure the fee has not already been added to your shopping cart
    • Diplomates who certified or recertified between 2016-2018 have their C-cert annual fee waived until the fifth year following their certification/recertification year

To print a payment confirmation 

  1. When logged in, click "Hi, <your name>" towards the upper right-hand corner to be taken to your diplomate profile page
  2. Click on "History" in the blue bar between "My Participation" and "Preferences"
  3. Email confirmations are listed in "Recent interactions"

To update your medical licensure and board certification information:

  1. When logged in, click "Hi, <your name>" towards the upper right-hand corner to be taken to your diplomate profile page 
  2. Click on "Licensure and Board Certification" in the blue bar
  3. Required information is indicated with a red asterisk
  4. To add information, click on the + to the right of the information you wish to edit
  5. To edit existing information, click on the pencil icon to the right of the information you wish to edit
  6. Information can be added or edited but it cannot be deleted

To print a CME certificate

For CME earned on or before June 10, 2021:
  1. Log into the website.
  2. Click on "Hi, <Your name>" in the upper right corner.
  3. Click on "My Participation" in the blue bar.
  4. Click on the small PDF icon to generate your certificate and download it to your computer.

For CME earned after June 10, 2021:
  1. Log into the website.
  2. Click on "Hi, <Your name>" in the upper right corner.
  3. Click on "History" in the blue bar.
  4. Email confirmations are listed in "Recent interactions."
  5. Click on the subject to either resend the email or download it to your computer.

To attest to meeting CME requirements for continuous certification (for current diplomates only):

  1. When logged in, click on "Continuous Certification" from the top navigation and then click "Transition to Continuous Certification" from the right-hand navigation
  2. Click the blue "Attest now" button
  3. If all CME requirements are met, check the box, add the current date, and click "Finish"
  4. To verify your attestation, follow steps 1 and 2 again
